In 1985, I bought a 20-plus year-old 15 foot motorboat and attempted to refurbished it.
I used it for crabbing and fishing in the Alsea Bay, but soon realized it was too old to maintain in the salt-air climate.
Rust was the winner...
I have also had the opportunity to rent and drive motor boats at various locations around the world.
